Drosophila brain neuronal field

Real events from the ImmortalFruitFlies contract are projected into the field as afferent stimuli; each transaction hash maps to a fixed landing point, so the same event always lands in the same place. Births and reinstantiations register as excitatory input, deaths as inhibitory, memories and brain updates as neutral pulses — each recruiting nearby points that fade back to rest. With no input, the field holds a low spontaneous shimmer. This is a visualization of activity, not a neural computation — the point cloud is a procedurally generated fly-brain silhouette, not real neuron data.

Colony ledger

Read directly from the contract on BNB Chain mainnet. Every number here is a confirmed on-chain event — nothing is estimated or simulated. A death never removes a fly: its brain snapshot stays on-chain and can be reinstantiated, so "preserved" flies are permanent members of the colony.

03.[ SPAWN ]

Spawn a fly

Mint a fly straight from this page. Each spawn generates a fresh neural genome in your browser, commits its hash on-chain, and lands the new fly on the field within seconds. Minting is free; you pay only BNB gas. Your flies can die, and their brains stay on-chain to be reinstantiated.

Connect a BNB Chain wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, Trust) to spawn.
04.[ FIRING_THRESHOLD ]

Distribution threshold

Colony growth accumulates as depolarization; deaths as hyperpolarization. When the membrane potential crosses threshold, one action potential fires — a visual marker of a burst of on-chain activity in one direction.

HOLDING · no threshold crossing
[ DEPOLARIZATION ] membrane +
+0.00
threshold +4545.0 to fire
[ HYPERPOLARIZATION ] membrane −
0.00
threshold −4545.0 to fire

Field background drifts with the cumulative potential: greener toward depolarization, pinker toward hyperpolarization.

05.[ MUSHROOM_BODY ]

Mushroom body circuit

Recent transactions compress into a sparse code across the Kenyon-cell grid — each active cell marks a recent event, brightest for the newest. A decorative readout of activity density, not a learned model.

Honest scope: this dashboard visualizes on-chain activity as neural-field telemetry. The brain point cloud is a procedurally generated fly-brain silhouette — it contains no FlyWire or other connectome data — transactions do not compute through it, and no neural simulation runs here. "Membrane potential", "firing", and "mushroom body" are visual metaphors for buy/sell pressure and recent-event density. The colony is live: the page reads every fly directly from contract storage (totalFlies / getFly) via a public BNB Chain RPC, with no server in between, so every minted fly is shown from #1 onward, permanently. If the chain connection drops, the status bar says so and the field falls back to spontaneous shimmer only — it never fabricates events.
